[Pinkie slowly trots her way out of Fluttershy's room, a small baby alligator sleeping on her back. She's managed to get most of the confetti off of her face, but her curly mane is still a bit more sparkly than usual. When she spots Adele in the doorway, she flashes a welcoming smile.]

I'm so happy you're here!

I am sorry I was not able to come sooner; we've only just returned from the mission.

[She closes the door behind her and makes her way first and foremost to the kitchen. Pinkie's sparkly mane pulls an amused snort from her none the less.]

Might I ask why it is you glitter, Pinkie Dear?

I fell asleep in a pile of confetti! [Stated matter-of-factly.]

I hope you had fun on the mission~.

It was...raining. For most of it. And fairly cool.

[She's only a little surprised no one became sick. Just a touch.]

...how is it you came to sleep in a pile of confetti?

Because I shot Fluttershy's bed with my party cannon, of course!

[fleurdesel]

Party. Cannon.

[She freezes in the middle of unpacking her things. Stares at the little pink pony.]

What. What is a Party cannon?

[And just like that, Pinkie darts around the corner and into her bedroom, wheeling the cannon into the room.]

My party cannon, see? It just showed up in the item shop the morning Fluttershy disappeared.

[Were it anyone else? Adele would be horrified. As it stands she can only find the notion of Pinkie with a cannon adorable. And hilarious.

Give her a moment to catch her breath.]

[Pinkie giggles right along with her.]

Isn't it great? I get to load it up with balloons and confetti and gizmos and whoozits, mix it all up nice and good, then ta-da! Instant party!

That. That is- I. I do not think I have adequate words for exactly what this is Pinkie.

[Just saying that has her in another fit of laughter.]

[She snickers happily, giving her cannon a playful glance.]

I'd show you how it works, but it's super loud, and it's already past Gummy's bed time! He can be totally cranky when something wakes him up.

We'd best leave a demonstration for the morning, yes?

[She's still giggling, enough that she's given herself hiccups.]

Maybe it is about time for a party...

With everything that has been happening the past week? A party may very well be exactly what the village needs. Your Roman, or. Roan party was wonderful Pinkie Dear.

[She chuckles and finishes whisking up a mug of cocoa for herself and a...mug. Bowl. Thing. For Pinky.]

What sort would you plan next?

Y'know, I don't really know yet. Usually I just let stuff like that hit me when it wants to~. [Giggle.]

[She leans against the counter and offers Pinky her. Mug. Cup. Bowl. Thing.]

[She smiles thankfully, taking the cup with her mouth and gently placing it on the table.]

Whatever it is, I'll have to work hard to make it even better than the last one!

[A moment to check the cocoa in her own mug- rich, sweet, creamy. Good. She hadn't botched it.]

[She nods a couple times, lowering her head to take a sip from her own mug.]

It'll have to have music, and dancing, and games, and food, and even more food, and fireworks! Lots of fireworks! Even more than--

[She's cut off as she is hit by a sudden yawn.]

...more than last time. Mm.

It sounds like it shall be quite the affair. [Adele takes another sip of her cocoa, smiling down at the sleepy pony.] Whatever you need assistance with, I shall be more than happy to provide- but.

I think now would be a good time for you to rest, yes?
