That's right. Anyone approaching the item shop will instantly notice the wagon in the doorway. A wagon holding a mountain of items so random that it would take some kind of evil genius to see how they all fit together. Or Pinkie Pie. You should probably suspect Pinkie Pie. The bubblegum-pink pony is happily darting from pile to pile, shelf to shelf, picking up and playing with just about everything she can get her hoofs on. Every once in a while, she'll gasp in excitement, before tossing an item onto her ever-growing mound.]

This is the best. Store. Ever!

It's not. Well, not for most. Some enjoy the sensation. [Adele shudders a bit.] But that is the only way I know of for one of us to have a marking like that. How did you get yours?

Mine showed up when I threw my very first party! All little fillies get them when they find what they're meant to do in life. It's part of growing up!

I suppose that would make finding your path through life simpler, if it was branded upon you once you discover your purpose. Takes a bit of the fun out of it though, doesn't it?

We don't have anything as definite as a mark that appears to show us the way. Some people never discover their purpose. Some make their own. For the most part we live and work until we find what it is for ourselves.

Really? That sounds so sad. I don't know what I'd do if it wasn't for parties.

It leaves us with options. A choice. Potential. Every being in the galaxy is just full of potential. I'd rather see them wandering and trying to sort it out on their own than be locked into it while young.
